This is now going everywhere! :D Thanks, Lyu! It’s adorable. :3
Lin had but a clue of where she was. The place was too new, or perhaps too old for her to know. Eternal dust concealed the deep marks of the years. A large dent scarred the wrecked bed in the corner of the room. A precise cut had rendered the little stool three-legged, sentencing it to an existence bound by uselessness. An impossible fracture in the lid of the wooden chest let light reach the dark depths of its interior. Only the mirror, though not spared by the layers of detritus, bore no sign of the ages.
It was flawless. The reflection in the glass was clear and not a bit distorted. The girl’s skin looked as white and pure as it was. She could see every link of the fine silver chain around her neck, every curve of the precious vial that hanged from it. Needles faded to the sharpness of the image as it cut its way through to the maiden’s heart. Lin’s own grace was steadily consuming her. She stood and stared until she could feel nothing. Reflections felt nothing.
